The health & care professional council (HCPC) is the governing body for practising psychologists. This accreditation is for registered persons that have completed the correct and extensive competencies. It verifies that I have done required training and completed experience that allows me to practice ethically and independently.

SPORT AND EXERCISE PSYCHOLOGIST (IN TRAINING)

The British Association of Sport and Exercise Science's Sport and Exercise Psychology Accreditation Route is a pathway for individuals to be under supervised practice in sport and exercise settings. Supervised hours and competencies are followed and met to uphold the Health Care Professional Councils requirements.

ACCEPTANCE & COMMITMENT THERAPY

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy's (ACT) goal is to increase psychological flexibility. ACT's aim is to help create a rich, full and meaningful life and to develop skills that allow the individual to deal and handle thoughts, feelings and experiences effectively. ACT's growing body of support has made it's way into sport and looks to help athletes perform under pressure and to deal with their life as a sports competitor.

Completion: 18/11/2020 - Valid for 3 years

FIRST AID IN MENTAL HEALTH (LEVEL 3)

This training highlighted the current evidence from mental health in the general population, sport and business sectors. This course provided information of many mental health experiences, how to sign post and understanding symptoms of mental health. A mental health first aider has confidence to have those first conversation with someone who might need mental health assistance through the skills trained in this course and having a mental health plan.

Sept. 2018 - Sept. 2019

MSC. SPORTS & EXERCISE PSYCHOLOGY

Achieving a merit from the World's number one university for sport related subjects - Loughborough University. Modules included were: performance psychology; mental health; coach-athlete relationships; professional practice and more, taught by leading academics. While completing this course, I also participant in BUCS sport (basketball).

BSC. PSYCHOLOGY

A four-year degree in the foundations of psychology, finishing with a 3.5 GPA (Cum Lunda) in Missouri, USA. Extra curricular activities included student athlete (Basketball), president & treasure of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and president of the psychology club.
